Polvaro Oro

White Blend

  • Tasting Notes

Three outstanding grape varieties provide the framework for this distinctive white blend. Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, and Traminer are combined to offer refreshing fruit flavors of honeydew, apricot, and pink grapefruit. Added scents of honeysuckle and white pepper result in a soft, dry wine that is excellent for either food pairing or simple sipping.

The fermentation process for all the grapes is carried out at a temperature of 64°F. After the separate fermentations are complete, the four varietals are combined to form the blend.

Lison Classico DOCG Area

Far from the hectic city life, the Estate vineyards are cradled in the remote Venetian countryside, in proximity of the historic town of Annone Veneto. Our selected Polvaro Tenuta grapes are grown in the Lison Classico D.O.C.G. zone, the oldest and most genuine area in the whole Lison region. This area, which spans less than 10 miles (16 km) from east to west and occupies the very western edge of the wider Lison area, is one of the most suitable areas of Veneto for grapevine cultivation.
