The Candoni De Zan Family is humbly honored to receive a stellar review of their Tenuta Polvaro Pinot Grigio. WineExpress.com’s Wine Director, Josh Farrell, recently released a very complimentary tasting video of this wine describing the nose of the wine as “nice and ripe; very expressive.” He went on to say that it is “nice and rich on the palate. Not your typical sort of light, fruity, little bit of acidity Pinot Grigio.”
Mr. Farrell has an innate way of capturing our attention and really making the audience feel involved in his wine tastings. As we would say in Italy, he is bravissimo! (excellent) To view the full review and tasting video, as well as customers’ ratings, click here.
Tenuta Polvaro Pinot Grigio is produced on a 17th century estate located in the Veneto region of northeast Italy, an hour northeast of Venice. The Estate was owned originally by a Venetian noble family by the name of Polvaro, and in more recent years the Candoni De Zan Family purchased the Estate and re-worked the land so that the vineyards continue to maintain superior conditions for growing high-quality Italian grapes.
Tenuta Polvaro Pinot Grigio was also recently awarded a Gold Medal at the 2015 Pramaggiore National Wine Competition.
