Our family’s estate has been awarded with gold medals and the best red wine accolade
The 57th edition of the Italian National Wine Exhibition in Pramaggiore has given great satisfaction to our family’s estate brand Tenuta Polvaro. Indeed, all Tenuta Polvaro wines entered into competition, have earned the gold medal award. This emphasizes not only the quality of these products but also the constant commitment of our Family to preserve and enhance this beautiful wine territory. Held in the heart of the Lison-Pramaggiore D.O.C.G. wine district in the Veneto region, the National Wine Exhibition in Pramaggiore, is the oldest enological event in Italy that rewards every year D.O.C., D.O.C.G., and I.G.T. wines from all Italian regions. The 2018 edition is particularly rich, with more than 10,000 wines entered into competition from 600 different labels.
“We are extremely proud of this awards since it shows that our passion and research for quality is recognized by the best experts in the sector” – says Caterina De Zan, owner of Tenuta Polvaro.

Tenuta Polvaro Merlot D.O.C. has earned the prestigious “VENETO Più” award for obtaining the highest score in the whole red wine category from Veneto, beating off the most famous red wines of Valpolicella.
