La Vendemmia 2015: Harvesting the Candoni De Zan Family Vineyards

Harvest Blog

Harvest-time is among us! The rainfall which took place over last year’s winter and fall has guaranteed us a healthy supply of water to nourish our vineyards. Also, thanks to the hot and sunny summer days that we experienced these past months, our grapes are in the optimal state of health, and our vineyards are in marvelous condition.

On August 28th we started to harvest the Pinot Grigio grapes, followed by Prosecco,  Lison Classico, and the Moscato all in excellent phytosanitary conditions, with considerable alcohol potential, and good acidity.

We will continue to monitor the ripening of the red grapes, and in a few days we will start to harvest the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Raboso grapes.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates about this year’s harvest!
